Reutimann Previews Michigan

What do you attribute to your success this year or to MWR's success in general:

"It's a combination of things, I believe. We've definitely grown stronger as an organization since our first year in 2007. The equipment we're bringing to the track keeps improving. Not to mention, the people we have at MWR have come together to form a stronger team. Some have been here since the beginning, while others came into the organization and have quickly made a positive impact. Finally, I think we owe Aaron's a large amount of gratitude for their continued support since the very beginning."

What it's like working with Rodney Childers this season and how he's contributed to the team's success:

"Rodney is a great crew chief and I'm lucky to have him. He's smart, makes great calls and knows the race car. So when he tells me to do something or calls for an adjustment then I know to trust that it's the right decision. Just look at our last few races - his decision to stay out resulted in our first win and then this past weekend he coaches me to a third place finish at Pocono."

What you like about racing at Michigan:

"Michigan International Speedway is fun race track - a track similar to California where you have fast straight-aways, long sweeping turns and you can run at the top or bottom. It's also one of the few races that can come down to fuel mileage. Even though my track record may say otherwise, I do enjoy racing at Michigan."

Expectations for this weekend at Michigan:

"Even though we've had a run of bad luck there lately, my first start at Michigan International Speedway in a NASCAR race came in 2003 while driving for Brian Pattie in the Nationwide Series and I finished 6th. It would be nice to duplicate that performance this weekend."

2009 NSCS Points Standings:
David Reutimann surged back into the top-12 with his performance at Pocono. Moving up two spots, he know sits at 11th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver points, 342 points behind leader Tony Stewart.

Chassis Information:
The No. 00 Aaron’s Dream Machine for Michigan International Speedway is chassis No. 625. This chassis was used in the car that finished 4th at Las Vegas.
