Reutimann Previews Pocono

WHETHER POINTS POSITION AFFECTS PREPARATION:
“Not really - our goals each weekend
remain the same regardless of being in the top-12 or right outside. The objective each weekend is to run as well as possible … finish top-five or top-ten and try to win the race. If we do those things then the points will take care of itself. You try not to get wrapped up in the points too much since there’s so many other drivers and teams that can affect your position each week.”

POCONO’S UNIQUE CONFIGURATION:
“Pocono is a unique track. Each turn is different and it has
really long straight-a-ways. It's has characteristics of a variety of tracks we compete on, including short tracks, speedways and road courses.”

FACING THE CHALLENGE POCONO PRESENTS:
“With three different corners, every corner is
important but it’s pretty tough to nail them all so you just try to be good on all of them and really good on one of them. I enjoy the challenge it presents and even though our finishes haven't been where we'd prefer, I'm confident our Aaron's Dream Machine can run well this weekend.”

IS MOMENTUM SOMETHING DRIVERS REALLY THINK ABOUT:
“Absolutely, I believe momentum is
huge for a race team. If your team wins or is running well then everyone's smiling and the general attitude around the shop is positive - this can relate to running well on the track. After Charlotte there was an air of confidence in the shop and it was smiles all around. I’m thankful for that because the guys work so hard on everything.”

2009 NSCS POINTS STANDINGS:
David Reutimann maintained his place at 13th in the NASCAR
Sprint Cup Series driver points, 317 points behind leader Tony Stewart and only 31 points out of 12th.

CHASSIS INFORMATION:
The No. 00 Aaron’s Dream Machine for Pocono Raceway is chassis No.
628. Though it has previously run at Phoenix, Martinsville and Richmond it was completely rebuilt for this race.
