DAVID REUTIMANN — “It was a good lap. The guys did a really, really good job all day having to work with two different drivers. (Aric) Almirola helped us out a lot today and I have to thank him. Rodney Childers (crew chief) and all my guys, they hustled. We weren’t that good in our mock qualifying runs, but the car was a lot better. I owe a lot to those guys. Those guys hustled and made all those changes to get two drivers in and out. I didn’t make it easy for them today, but I appreciate all they do.”
MARTIN TRUEX JR. — “Our lap was pretty good. An early draw is obviously not what we wanted but I felt pretty good about the lap. It’s a good pick up from practice. We had a really good practice in our NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota. We weren’t the fastest on the quick lap, but on the long runs, we were really good. I think we’ll be pretty good for tomorrow night. I’m pretty happy with the changes we made right there. Turns 1 and 2 were really good. We were a little bit too loose in Turns 3 and 4 with the sun on it. We’ll just have to wait and see what the draw will do. All and all, it was a good pick up for us -- a good lap and a good job by the NAPA Know How crew.”
