DAVID REUTIMANN — How will your car be in Sunday’s race? “I hope it’ll run real good. We got to do a little bit of race stuff early on today and we weren’t really where we needed to be with that. Hopefully, tomorrow, we have couple hours of practice, we can get the TUMS Toyota a little bit happier and the driver a little bit happier and have a good race here and maybe repeat what we did in Chicago.”
How important is starting up front at New Hampshire? “Everywhere we go, it’s really, really important. It seems like the smaller the race track, the more confined the area is, the more important it is to start up front. It would be great to stay up in the front and get a good starting position and good pit selection to pay off on Sunday.”
MARTIN TRUEX JR. — How was your qualifying lap? “It was a big improvement from practice. We completely changed the setup to what one of our teammate’s had. It was a big help. It’s hard to go out there and haven’t driven it before. It was so much different. I could’ve done a better job driving it, had I ran it in practice. But, big improvement for us so I’m looking forward to working on it tomorrow.”
